I was standing in front of the mirror, waiting patiently for my dress to be handed to me. I slipped into the silk dress then got my sister to zip it up. “You ready (Y/N?)” She asked putting my great grandmothers rosary beads around my wrist. I nodded my head smiling. I turned around and gave her a hug, thanking her for all she had done. “I can’t believe this day has finally arrived!” she said wiping a tear off her cheek. She took the veil off the white, wooden vanity set and placed it in my hair, then carefully covered my face. The photographer came in and got a family photo.

“Okay let’s go lovely” My dad said putting his arm out. I linked arms with him and we walked into the car. We arrived at the church and I stepped out and noticed cameras flashing. The wind was strong, but within a minute my sister was already behind me holding my dress. I walked up to the beginning of the isle. I gulped and tried to find him.

~Louis’ POV~

I was shaking. I couldn’t wait till (Y/N) was all mine. She was literally the most amazing person in my life. “Calm down. Stop shaking” Said a male voice patting my shoulder. I turned around and saw Harry standing there smiling. “I’m scared” I replied gulping. As he was about to reply, he noticed the music started playing and turned to look for (Y/N). I couldn’t see her. I turned back to Zayn and smiled then looked to the floor. This was really about to happen. It finally hit me.

~(Y/N) POV~

Flower girl. Paige boy. Bride’s maid. Maid of honour. They all walked up so quickly. But now it was my turn. Before I was about to walk up the isle of commitment, I noticed all my family standing there. I could feel my father lightly push my forward. I shed a tear then started walking, looking down. I didn’t want anyone to see me with my makeup in such a mess. As I was about to reach the end, I head Lottie say “Look up!” from the side of the isle. I looked at her and winked at her, then put on a smile and smiled at everyone. I reached the end of my journey and saw Louis standing there. Gobsmacked. He didn’t know what to say.

~Louis’ POV~

She looked beautiful. As soon as I saw her, my face had lit up. She kissed her father goodbye and I gave him a warm hug. I held her hand softly and smiled at her. “You look beautiful” I whispered in her ear as the priest started talking.

“…I, Louis, take you, (Y/N), to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honour you all the days of my life.” I said softly placing the ring on her finger. She looked up to me and smiled at me. “Don’t cry.” I added. I wish I could wipe her tears away but the veil was in the way.

~(Y/N) POV~

 “I, (Y/N), take you, Louis, to be my husband. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part” I replied placing the wedding ring on his soft fingers. I heard a sniffle and turned my head, and saw Liam crying, which made me cry even more.

“I now pronounce you…husband and wife. You may kiss the bride” The priest said looking at Louis and smiling. He grabbed the veil, and pushed it behind my hair. “Wait a sec” He said loudly so everyone could hear. He giggled then wiped my tears. I laughed lightly then pulled him in. We both smiled during the kiss as I moved away and noticed everyone clapping in congratulations. This was the first day of a new beginning. I walked outside of the church with him, with linked arms.

We got a photo with us and the boys. “(Y/N) you look amazing” Niall said giving me a kiss on the cheek. “Welcome to the family” he added. I looked over to find Louis and saw Zayn giving him a lecture. “Don’t let this one go mate. She’s special.” He said patting his back then giving him a hug. I walked over to Harry and saw him talking with Liam and Danielle. “CONGRATULATIONS!” Harry said running towards me and hugging me. “haha thankyou” I replied smiling then hugging Danielle. “You look amazing (Y/N). The dress is absolutely gorgeous.” Danielle said smiling. Well this day was definitely something to remember…

Those memories kept on flashing back. “Come on grandma! I’m getting bored here!” said my granddaughter pulling me away from the grave. I read what it had said. ‘Louis William Tomlinson. 1991-2081’. “okay okay” I said smiling then trying to stand back up. It was a struggle. I bent down one more time to kiss the grave then got my walking stick. I would do anything to revisit that day where we started a new life together.
